About the Blackdown Tablelands Tag-Along Adventure

This is a weekend designed to slow you down, lift you up, and reconnect you with the land and with yourself. Our Blackdown Tablelands tag-along tour invites you to explore one of Central Queensland’s most breathtaking national parks, where sandstone cliffs, hidden waterfalls, and ancient cultural stories converge.

Departing from Rockhampton, we’ll travel in convoy to Munall campground, nestled among towering gums and cool mountain air. After setting up camp, you’ll have time to swim in the crystal-clear pools of Rainbow Falls, walk shaded trails, and gather around the fire for shared meals and quiet conversation. It’s a space where confidence grows gently and friendships form naturally.

On Sunday, we’ll pack down and explore more of the Tablelands—taking in scenic lookouts, cultural sites, and forest tracks before enjoying a relaxed lunch and heading home.

This adventure is beginner-friendly and fully supported. With permits, planning, and guidance taken care of, all you need to bring is your gear, food, and a willingness to embrace the stillness and strength of the Tablelands.

Blackdown Tablelands National Park is located approximately 180–200 km west of Rockhampton. The drive typically takes around 2.5 to 3.5 hours, with sealed roads leading to the park and short 4WD tracks within the area.
